If your DJ won't give you your $$$ back, make sure they at least let you use that money toward a future event, other wise take their butts to court. They have not provided a service for you and should not be able to keep that deposit.

I called off an engagement four months prior to the wedding so I know how hard it is for you. But be proud of yourself to realize that the timing wasn't right for you instead of going through the motions. You're a strong woman and should be proud of yourself for so many reasons.

I am so sorry you are going through this!! We are all here for you no matter what! Just be happy it happened sooner rather than later and your wedding was far enough away where I am sure the vendors will be understanding. They have plenty of time to re-book.

Good Luck Gloria! Definite;ly better now than later. I know these baords have been very supportive to other women in your situation, so if you need anything, we're always here. Also, keep in mind that you may be able to get back nearly 100% of your deposits if the vendors get booked for the same day for the same type of event/package...fortunately there is a lot of time until that date, so you will probably get everyhting booked, and LIW may help you to do that, or you may be able to sell things you bought on here, etc..just a though

I thank everyone so much for your support. You girls are GREAT! FH & I are going to take a step back and begin dating each other again & just having fun with eachother. Kinda take it back to the begining of the relationship. The wedding was just bringin on so much stress for us. So we are just going to have fun with eachother now.
