saw the movie Closer last night with my friend..
All I have to say is Wow.. A powerful movie....a lot of issues with relationships, hurt, sex, love,.. not a fairy tale happy ending... it was very good IMO- the audience was silent the whole time- in awe of some of the things going on. left me thinking about my own life and twists...........

i love the songs they play in the coming attractions. i am not the hugest julia roberts fan (she's overrated in my opinion) but i love natalie portman and jude law...i do want to see it.

I thought it was HORRIBLE>.......I was so excited to see it and so dissappointed. I was glad I wasn't the only one around me that thought it stunk. Maybe I just didn't get it but I kept waiting for something to happen and it didn't.
I got the idea that relationships are complicated but maybe it was the timing of things that through me off. You never really knew how much time passed until the end of the movie. One minute Anna is dating the dr. and then their married. ***,,,, The only thing I got from it was that Jane was her "true" self with the DR. she didn't lie about who she was.
The themes of honesty & Truth were prevelant through out the movie..
