Need advice Re: Getting ready at hotel
all the hotels that I have called say check out is at 12. and if I stay past 1 I will get charged 1/2 a days rate extra!!!
My ceremony isnt until 3 and its only 15-20 min away from the curch... 1 is way to early for me to leave isnt it??

Re: Need advice Re: Getting ready at hotel
This was why I chose to stay at the same hotel both before and after the wedding. I would have preferred to get ready at a different hotel, but decided that I didn't want to have to leave 1 to check in at another and all the hassle involved with that.

I was thinking the same thing... the only thing is the hotel where I am probably staying is closer to the church thats why I picked it... its also really nothing fancy and fh and I have reservations that night for a suite at the plaza.

Re: Need advice Re: Getting ready at hotel
Can you schedule photos with your BMs and your family for that time in between? The only thing is that if you are getting limos, you would have to tack on the extra cost involved with that. But photos could be a good way to use up that time without just sitting around feeling nervous.

I would talk to them...most hotels will offer late check out in a situation like this, if not i would look for another hotel that is willing to accomadate your needs.

I agree. We requested a late check out (2pm I think) at our wedding night suite and it wasn't a problem. The late checkout was included in our pkg but I'm sure the charge would be minimal -- less than 1/2 day rate!
