Depressing Christmas music...
Can someone please explain to me the appeal of: "I wanna buy new shoes for my Mamma...blah, blah, blah..."
WTH is that???
That's not happy. That's not Christmasy...
And Celine Dion's 'O Holy Night' ...I wanted to slit my wrists right there in the nail salon.
How annoying.

I cant believe you said that about the Cristmas Shoes song. I got stuck at the RR crossing this morning and that song came on, I was bawling and I wanted to just drive through the gates.

The song makes me appreciate what I have and how fortunate I am, the one that makes me sad is have yourself a merry little christmas, reminds me of how me and my siblings live in seperate states.

I finally heard that song last night. My cousin was telling me that I would cry when i heard it. But I just thought it was a dumb song (bring on the flaming ) I dont see why everyone is making a big deal about it. Give me rudolph or frosty any day!!

I was stuck on the 135 in an unholy snowstorm last year and that freaking "christmas shoes" song came on the radio. I wanted to eat broken glass.

I don't like the song. I think it is melodramatic and was written to tug at the heartstrings.
I cried the first time I heard it and then I realized that they got me sucked in.

I don't know...I think the holidays hit everyone differently....a few years ago I was in Macy's...it was jammed, long lines...and Grandma Got Runover by a Raindeer came on....before I knew it I had aligator tears streaming down my face.....same thing happens when I hear the dogs bark Rudolph the Rednose Raindeer....I remember the first time I heard it...my dog got started barking back, growling at the speakers, searching for the other dogs....we were on the floor howling.....
