Any Mediterannean Manor Brides?
Hi All!
I am just wondering if there are any Med. Manor brides here? If so, can you tell me about your experience there? I am getting married on 10-29-05 there and I just want to know of any goods, bads, etc. Thanks so much!

Mediterranean Manor
I went to a wedding there on November 20th 2004 it was evening wedding . The bride had the ceremony there the food was not good at all. We were standing for the cocktail hour if you are having more than 150 please don't have it there. There were no seats available for my husband and my self at the cocktail hour. I didn't like the set up at all the guest was face in the back of the bridal party we had to turn around to see them make a toast. I thought that was rude, and there was not enough food for the cocktail hour. Reception food had no taste to it.

Re: Any Mediterannean Manor Brides?
I had the exact opposite experience there. I went to my cousin's wedding there just a few weeks ago myself. Beautifully decorated and simple elegance is the key there. The food was excellent. My only area of concern would be that they did not have valet parking which my aunt mentioned was an option they didn't choose. My cousin had a large bridal party, but only about 120 guests. Everyone seemed to have a great time and I heard no complaints about the food or the service. I guess its all of what people make of it.
I wouldn't be concerned about it if I were you. Some people are just never happy no matter where they go.
I am into more of an all out type wedding which is why I am hoping to be getting married at Lombardi's on the Sound at the Port Jefferson Country Club with 260 people on the guest list already. We haven't set a date yet, we are waiting until February or March to finalize all plans, since we are in the process of moving. Looking at a summer of 2006.
