My response date is today. I still have 44 people not answered. But I have another 20 people that told me via email/phone they were coming but never officially responded with the envelope.

It's annoyong but I'm sure I'll get all the responses eventually

It sos funny how people will email or call to rsvp.. THATS WHY WE PUT THE STAMP ON THE RESPONCE ENVELOPE!!!! All you have to do is check something and drop it in the box!!

I had three people hand them to me instead of mailing them - you know I paid for that stamp already - just use it!

Did you send them out yet?

Did you number the back of the invites in case someone forgets to write their name in / or it is illegible?

For my family they were all labels B1 through B67 and for FH's family they were labeled R1 through R64. The letter corresponds with our last name.

The numbered cards were lined up with the invites so we could just check them off!

Re: Did anyone else get a little nervous before the invitations went out???

Sending the invites out was the weirdest feeling amongst all the planning.
I totally felt the same way.

Now everyday I am anxious to get a RSVP.
I don't understand why people hold on to them. Espeically those I know are coming. I always mail it back right away.
As far as NO's. I am hoping for some. My guest count was higher than I wanted.

Re: Did anyone else get a little nervous before the invitations went out???

I just wanted to chime in and say that its perfectly NORMAL to feel nervous once those invites go out! I know I would run to check my mail every day and was very disappointed if people said no (i am weird and too sensitve, i know.. lol)

And unfortunately its perfectly normal to have loads of people who don't bother sending back their RSVP in time I simply don't understand how after all the years of their lives people don't realize how important that is, and how inconvenient it is for the bride to have to track them down to get a frikkin answer

Anyhow ladies, just my two cents (i know, what a help I am!)

ETA: just wanted to add I'm so excited for you both, Lisa & Maxine
