We finally set our date and booked everything!
It's been a long wait but we've finally booked our church and reception location for July 8th, 2005 in Galway, Ireland, right on the coast (its so beautiful!)!
I know I'm getting married in Ireland but I'm so excited and happy that I had to share :)

laughinlala - here are some pics...
The first pic is of the hotel - you cant see it too well but its right on the water and has a beautiful view.
The next 2 are pictures of the area (Connemara/Galway). I'm lucky because my parents/all my family live in Ireland so there was no doubt that I'd get married anywhere else. They found this hotel for me and I am so excited! The ceremony will be in a church but I don't have any pictures of it yet.

That looks like the Connemara Coast Hotel! I stayed there for a weekend with my girlfriends just before I moved here. It's a wonderful hotel and a fabulous setting. Congrats!

That sounds great! I have only been there to visit for St. Patty's a few years ago and it was beautiful, what I saw of it. Will you have alot of people flying out there also?

congrats! Most if my extended family lives in Ireland. When my cousin was getting married (she lived here) her sister got married the year before and she all of the exact same vendors. This was also 1992... pre-internet and communicating and planning a wedding an ocean away was even more difficult.
Galway is gorgeous... I used to spend all of my summers in Ireland... mostly Donegal.
