My DH has asked me and my Sil when we would decorate the store windows for XMAS. Yesterday. We both looked at him like he was nuts. We he is but put up xmas decorations now, its not even thanksgiving

The only holiday music I like... is the non-traditional stuff. Like Jingle Bells, Rudolph, White Christmas... has to go.
I like the songs like Wham's "Last Christmas"... the Band-Aid tribute "Do They Know Its Christmas"... stuff like that.

As I said, I can tolerate holiday toons right around Christmas. I just wouldn't be able to stand it NOW... faaaaaar too early
ETA: I do love decorations, however, and alwyas start putting them up on Thanksgiving weekend. So there!!!

I'm almost the same way! I like the traditional stuff to some extent, but I much prefer my special Christmas mix. Both of those songs are on there, plus others like Erasure, Bare Naked Ladies, Blues Traveler, Dave Matthews Band, Smashing Pumpkins, The Waitresses, etc.
FI, on the other hand, hates my CD and only loves the traditional stuff.

I agree, although I don't mind the slow build-up of anticipation... a store here and there decorating or putting Christmas stuff out, etc. But once Turkey Day is over, then the real fun begins. hehe.
