Pics of my best friends car accident..I dont know how she walked out of this
She was in the passenger seat and her boyfriend was driving.. they both walked out without a scratch. If she hadnt reclined her seat to take a nap she would have been killed

O - M - G .... that is horrible. After seeing what the car looked like after the fact, its a small miracle that they made it out of there in one piece  The damage was so severe on the passenger side!!
I know if it were me, that would leave me terrified to get back in a car

Ohmigod If I tell you, you wont even believe it. Her MORON of a boyfriend was driving them home from pennsylvania ( visiting his family) it wasnt late and he had plenty of sleep and they do not drink. He SAYS he was driving on the highway and after my bestfriend reclined her seat to go to sleep for some reason he got really tired.. all he remembers is sticking some gum in his mouth to help keep him awake and when they woke they were going under a tractor trailer!!!!!!!
thats why only her side got damaged.. he slowly drifted into the next lane where the truck was nad the truck crushed the car!!!!!!!
eta. The truck driver did not even stop.. he kept going! 
Honestly looking at that car you wouldnt think anyone was still alive and if they were they were very very hurt... the guy left them for dead.

Actually I dont think they realize how bad it was... she played it off like it wasnt so bad... they never saw the pics. I am the one flipping out!

OMG!!! Your friend must have one hell of a guardian angel on her side!!! I'm very glad that they are both ok.
Shame on that truck driver for not stopping. I'm actually surprised that the collision did not make him jacknife or something.
I'm sure your friend's BF already knows this now, but next time - if he feels tired PLEASE PULL OVER!!!

 I noticed the car was a saturn. I work at saturn on the weekends. But that's besides the point. What's scary is the story you just told. It is exactly the same as a friend of mine a couple of years ago. He is one of the managers there and he drives in every day from the hamptons which is about 70 miles one way. Anyway, he was driving home from work late one night and he said he was feeling tired, but wasnt worried he'd fall asleep. Well he did and he crashed right into a tractor trailer. He was able to walk away from that accident with a small gash on his head. But the picture you posted was creepy because it was the exact car and color my manager was driving too!!!

Angels held your best friend in their arms.
My mom was in the same type of accident 15 years ago and she had her seat reclined as well. If not, they told her the same thing.
I am very grateful to my mother's angels that night as I am sure you and your friend are for her's.

WOW Im glad she is ok. I can't believe she made it out. Someone is definetly on her side. Reminds me of My DH accident he had one day. Ure friends was worse cause it happened right where she was sitting.
