2 weeks to go still havent booked hair/makeup....and now im sick too!
ughhhh stuffed up, sore throat, burning eyes, totally drained, and im down to the crunch time meeting with all the vendors again.......
i was thinking of using a marykay lady who would come to my house for makeup.... i just dont know if the makeup will hold up as well as some of the makeup vendors on here..... most of the people on here are booked already anyways when i checked a couple months ago....
will the mary kay makeup last? are there any other good reasonable priced artist?
any hair suggestions? I will be getting ready at my parents house in garden city....

Well if you are working on last minutes, I would
A) get your makeup done at the mall in Macy's or something. I will do a free trial type thing in Clinique, you can choose your look, and then they just expect that you buy something. So purchase lipstick (for touch ups) and makeup remover. I would do that if my wedding was not in the morning on a Sunday!
B) call up regular salons in your area. See what they can do. My hair look beautiful for my senor prom even though I just went to the salon. You don't reall need to have someone come to you at some crazy time in the morning. And it will cost alot less.

My friend did my makeup. She used to work for Estee Lauder Spa in Manhasset and does an excellent job....she is probably available because she only does it on the side. If you are interested, fm me. If you want to see my makeup, my review is posted in the Brides Review and there is a link to some of my unprof. pictures.
Good luck!
