So I bought a kinda, sorta second wedding dress..

We are planning on doing an after-party in the Cigar Lounge after the reception-- and I thought it would be really cool to get another dress for that, and also so my real dress doesn't get all smoky.. so, I have sorta been keeping my eye out for white/ivory dresses..

Anyway, I went back to Jenny Yoo with one of my BMs to get her dress- and they had samples left over from the sample sale..

I got this dress for $25!!! So, now if I don't want to take my wedding dress off, I don't have to feel bad for buying this!!

it's so simple.. I figured I can wear it on the honeymoon regardless if I wear it for the after-party.

BTW- I cannot rave anymore about Jenny Yoo!!

I am soooo on the Jenny Yoo trail for BM dresses...

And I totally agree, you can wear that dress not only for the honeymoon for other occassions thereafter.... what an awesome purchase!

It's stripped organza..

It's a BM dress- but, none of my BMs have that shape and it is a totally different fabric.. and obviously ivory.

doubtful.. for what I am paying my hair and make-up person.. I am getting as many hours out of it as I can!!

No, I am sure your hair will look amazing -- I think you are doing an updo -- and I love the idea of this dress with your incredible hair all long and flowy. Then again, you can wear it supercasual with flip flops on HM and have your hair flowin....so either way, I am sure you will look great.

I actually have no idea how I am wearing my hair-- the guy who is doing me is a "master".. I will give him free reign. If I do it up-- it will be a chignon.. I am not an "up do" kind of girl.

yeah.. although still recovering from the perm I had when I was 13

It's pretty straight-- I dry it in 10 mins with no product or brushing.. if I let it dry naturally, I have a slight wave.

well, I like a full finger tip or elbow length.. not a clue on headpiece-- depends on what happens with my hair.. My hair guy makes veils and headpieces, so I am just waiting for my first consultation with him to do all that stuff.

Cool. Does your dress have a matching veil -- was it too much veil -- I think those are all super long, right?

That's GREAT! I love that idea... we've been tossing around the idea of the after party thing too... they offer a cigar/jazz thing. Good idea to have a different dress! And..... GREAT BARGAIN!
