In need of a weekend getaway with friends....any suggestions?
I'd like to go away for a weekend with just the girls....nothing too expensive and no crazy party place....any suggestions?

When?
Weather depends on a lot.
Best "weekend or small vacations" I have had are Montauk..just relax in hotel, go out to eat in a nice restuarant...go walk on beach, shop a little...
Atlantic City( more there then just casino's) The boardwalk is fun , lots of places to shop and eat..
Lake George..again lots to do within walking distance of hotels
Boston..tons of fun to be had there...

Is there something you all like to do...like go out to eat, shop, gamble etc? That might help narrow down the choices?

Go out East, it will be deolate and the rates are great! Visit Gurneys and get a few Spa treatments

OK, since there are a few of you, I'd HIGHLY recommend the Royal Atlantic East in Montauk. It is alittle pricey, but since there will be a few of you splittling it, it will be fine. It's a condo, right on the ocean, with a fireplace, can sleep 6.
Gurneys for a spa treatment would be great, and its only 5 mins away.
