Hi I can only comment about Verdi - they are the only ones that I saw on your list. I thought they were extremely professional, and I thought their pictures were amazing. I would have booked them in a second, but they have a premium price for a really skimpy package. You just get the album and proofs if I remember. You are paying for their "art" I guess - its up to you if its worth it.

Re: Help! Duet brides...having major photography issues! SOS!!
I visted many of the same photographers that you did.
MY favorites were Verdi and Jovan. Frankin Square was a top contender... their packages were great but I really didn't like their video. Verdi and Jovan were just too much money... We are spening so much on the hall that I just couldn't see spending over 8k on photo and video.
We went with Duet. We got an amazing package for photo and video for 4,500.
I thought their pics were lovely and the video as well. We customized the package to what we wanted and are happy with our choice. Honestly, I was worried about the language- and communication problems but so many brides on the boards who have used them truly loves them! I really haven't heard any complaints about them. My other concern was the amount of proofs they give- I felt it was on the low side for two photographers....
Good Luck- choosing the photographer was the toughest decision I had so far!

Re: Help! Duet brides...having major photography issues! SOS!!
I can give you some feedback about Duet. Our wedding isn't until April so we haven't used them yet by my friend did for her March wedding and I thought they did an amazing job (I was definitely watching )
I was a part of the BP so I had frequent interaction with the photographers and videographer. Here's a couple of things I can comment on:
* There was no language barrier issue at all. They communicated themselves well and everything went smoothly.
* I also found them to be non-intrusive. They were not crowding anyone at the reception.
* They had great personalities and meshed well with everyone in the BP. Good people to have around.
ETS: Most importantly, the proofs came out great
Hope this helps and good luck in your search

Re: Help! Duet brides...having major photography issues! SOS!!
I can only offer some advice on Verdi & Duet -
Verdi My friend used them and the album when they were done (40 pics) was stuning. What they did to make up for not having more pictures was have a book made from the digital images by MyPublisher.
Sherwood Triart I'm using them & they are expensive. If we went with the package I originally picked out they would have been half the price BUT my loving FI & father went and picked out a bigger package after we decided what we wanted (sorry vent... ) I've heard from friends that they don't bargain or throw in free stuff but I got them to double my Thank You's, should've had 2-44 pic parent albums but they're making 1-44, 2-30 and added an extra leather cover, plus they gave us an upgrade from 1 video to DVD and then still let us use the $250 in free upgrades or prints certificate.
I have to say, if I had heard of Duet before booking I would have had a hard decision ...their work is awesome & TONS of girls go with them!!
Good Luck!

Re: Help! Duet brides...having major photography issues! SOS!!
I used Duet for my February wedding. You can do a search, my proofs are on here somewhere.
I loved them. Great price, and so easy to work with. I didn't find the language barrier a problem at all.
I got over 700 proofs!!! and they're beautiful. They were ready within 3 to 4 weeks. But I've just gotten my album in the beginning of September and I wasn't thrilled with them. A few things I had asked for were not done and the quality on a few of the reproductions was not up to scratch. I emailed them (I'm living in London right now) and they told me to come in when I'm next visiting. I called them yesterday to see if I could come in this weekend and we were having some trouble working out a time becuase they're so busy on the weekends. Nicole said Eric really wants to see you and fix the problem. So he'd made some time for me this morning, even though they're shooting all weekend long. anyway, I went in thsi morning, and he's completely redoing my album in a new format. I will get a proof of the layout via email (Eric said this is standard procedure now) to approve. AND, he let me keep the old album.
THey are extremely service oriented. I have nothing but praise for them. FM me if you have any questions.

I have't seen any of these photograhers, but what I'd like to say is that you can talk to them about their style. if you see them in person, they may ahve different alubums with different styles than what's on the website, so iw ouldn;t go bya website neccessarily.

I am booked w/ Duet, I love there work and $$$. Just wanted to point put that Verdi puts there name across all of there proofs so then you cant use them. Duet doesnt so atleast you can put all of those proofs in frames and display them.

Actually, Verdi doesn't put the name on the proofs - it's only on the ones they post online.
