Vent - I hate the place I purchased dress!! LONG!
I absolutely hate this place and these people who work there! No class or presence about them. I went for 1st fitting 4 weeks ago, walked out crying. I put the dress on, they shuffle me to the mirror that you are "glued" against and can't really see yourself. Now, I still have not seen myself at this point. Next thing I know, they did my bustle and I never got to see the back of my dress!! What the !!??? Then they have another bride come right in. I got 1/2 hour, should I not have been able to dream in my dress a bit?? So I leave crying!
Next my girls go pick up their dresses and the lady is pissed at one of them b/c she is not getting fitted there (lives out of state), says some nasty comment to her, in return I told that that my girl did not deserve to be spoken to like that and then the lady is nice! Dresses do not look anything like the color she said that would be, but they look good in the dark, funny I'm getting married in the day!!
I order my veil and it is still not in!! I have not had a hair trial yet and they did not return my calls for two days.
Listen to me, just because they are offering a better price, means nothing if you are being treated like a pice of Sh-t!! Anyone want to know who it is, FM me!!

Wow, you got to see yourself in your dress I see and got to take a picture as well!! Sorry for my sarcasm!! Just trying to lighten my mood!! I never ever saw the dress on my before that day!!

HA HA - yes, my picture...I had it on for a while. YOu should look in to taking it somewhere else! Why pay these people good money when they treat you and your BMs that way?

you definetely should take the dresses somewhere else. last time I checked this is still AMERICA you have choices. I had a nightmare with my first fitting. long story, but in the end i walked out of their with my dress and took it to someone who knew what she was doing. you are not obligated in any way!

take the dress and the girls dresses somewhere else. You are suppose to be enjoying this time - if they give you a tude just let them know it's because you don't like the way the conduct busniess.

Oh no, I know where you purchased it and that's where I purchased mine as well (hasn't come in yet) Yes, the price difference (hundreds of dollars cheaper) was definitely enticing but you should not have to put up with that lack of service.
Have you tried talking with them at all at a time when they might not be so busy?
Yes, I guess if you had such a horrible experience I would advise you to take the dress somewhere else as well. I guess I'll have to be very vigilant.
Did you try talking with them after the first episode and before your bridesmaids went?
Maybe it would do some good to let them know you post on this board? Just an idea.

I am sure that every vendor has had at least one customer with a bad experience, unfortunately it was me. I really just wanted to vent and to inform people to stay on top of people. The old saying "You get what you pay for" comes to my mind!! Thanks for all the support! I am going to take my dress elsewhere!!
