Yesterday was a bad day...
First, I found out that I'm being made redundant come June. The company that I work for is closing its main theatre/auditorium so they're laying off about 181 people. Frankly, it wasn't that much of a surprise, and it's only a part-time job, but now I have to find something else and it took me so long to find this job.
Then, my mother emailed me that my great-uncle died. He has been having some heart trouble, but he wasn't dying!!! It seems so sudden to me. He was so wonderful and I remember when my own grandfather died when I wa 12, he agreed to be my 'stand-in'. Times like these make being so far away from my family so hard!!!  I won't be able to attend the funeral...
It's a lot to take in in one day!
