Second job to save money

Is anyone like me, crying poverty, wanting a second job, but really doesn't want to work another job after working all day? I wish the money would magically appear! I'm too lazy for another job!

I put $5.00 of gas in my car last night. I had no other cash on me. I have not done that since high school.

Ha ha. I put in $3 a few weeks ago. That got me accross the street and home. And lunch...I keep saying I'll pack lunch...

Oh my gosh girls I hear you. I've been "looking" since July for a job in addition to full time school. I keep running into dead ends, but I'm also not putting a 100% effort into looking. I really just wish money grew on trees!

I NEED a second job, cant find the time though for one!!

I'm looking into taking a real estate class to get licensed to do real estate on the weekends..

we could all wear LIweddings tshirts... and while we are there we could work on our registry!
The only reason i didn't do it was because i am the assistant manager of a store and my company considers it a conflict of interest to work for another retail store (BTW i work for a leather company they have nothing to do with eachother)... I think they are just afraid i might get picked up by another retailer..

oh well back to the drawing board!!!

I bring lunch everyday and I have a sometime second job (which actually is good money if I can do it more often!) And I still seem to never have any money....

I have a second job....at Bath & Body Works. I work mostly on Sundays. But lately I feel like I am spending the $ I make there on products. I love that place. But thats not so good.


Oh yeah....I bring lunch everyday to work, and I bring a tea bag from home and have that mid day and I buy cheap hairspray.... and I gave up on my manicures & pedicaures, I've been doing them myself. This stinks....but all well worth it!

boy do i hear you all!!! my problem is i shop too much too!!!!! i was sooo good for sooo long and this last month i have been out of control..... my coworker and i are going to start swimming together for excersize, so i NEEDED swim "accessories", while i was at sports authority i picked up a few other things i "needed". I am literally OUT OF CONTROL!!! so my coworker and i are going tomorrow to apply for a few waitressing jobs.. its hard work and you bust your a$$ but the $$ u make is so good!

i need a job, period! i havent been able to find anything since i got fired last week! uh oh!

i was thinking about working nights/weekends at williams-sonoma, but OMG, i would shop ALL DAY LONG! i know myself. PLUS> i dont really want to work nights/weekends. thats the only time i see FH.

who knows! stripping is starting to sound good

i recently accepted a second job in the retail field. didn't really want to, but i need $$ for my sisters wedding next year and then of course my wedding in 2006. the plan is the put the whole paycheck from 2nd job in savings, but i have some cc debt so i want to get that cleaned up too. why can't we just hit the lotto???

Im on the same boat. Just started the wedding fund and thanks to the family and a lovely engagement party, it was something to start us off.
Now that we know what we need to put away, it just seems like something else takes away from it. My car needs a $200 part, FH has to pay back IRS(something got screwed up).....who knows whats next!

I want another job too but FH is a cop and does not want me to get another job due to his crappy hrs and if he does get time off, he wants me available. I just say its a sacrifice we have to take then staying POOR!
Also, my job requires me to be here on a sat(once a month).

Ugghhhh! I need a cash job,thats the best way.

I in the process of looking for a second job. I'd rather not work in retail, but I have a feeling that is what I'm going to end up doing.

I know it varies from store to store, but can anyone give me an average range of pay per hour? I've been out of retail for so long I wouldn't know what is a fair rate and what isn't.

I also need to work 2 jobs and DH makes a pretty good living. I cannot wait to get off LI
