I am soooo furious at my bank right now
I am soooo furious at my bank right now-
Over two days we deposited all the checks from the wedding.
One day at the Citibank in Queens and another day at the Citibank in Farmingdale.
All the deposits from Queens went through ok - but the deposits from Farmingdale got all messed up - they are telling us at least one check from each deposit is missing!!
It's not possible...I've NEVER done anything like that before.
Now there isn't even a way to prove it!! They have to do an "investigation" which means nothing probably....
UGH has anyone had this happen to them - any advice?

Woudnt the bank have the copy of the check that you brought in for deposit.

The thing is - who knows where the missing checks are?!?! They could have misplaced them - I don't know...I have never experienced this before!

Yes it happend to me about a year and a half ago. I deposited it through the ATM, so I kept the receipt and we had to go to the bank and they did an investigation and ended up finding the check. It didn't take but a few days, but I will never deposit through the ATM again, unless I ABSOLUTELY have to.
Good Luck...I am sure they will find THEIR mistake
