Need quick suggestions for food-related favors..wedding 17 days away!
I was going to do these fabulous pies for favors from Diane's Bakery. I was going to do strawberry rhubarb, triple berry, and pecan pie. Now I am second guessing it.
Does anyone else have any other good ideas for food-related favors? I am willing to spend up to $10 per couple if it is the right favor.

THanks for the suggestion...but for some reason, I did not want chocolate. You also have to worry about it melting.

We did Black and White cookies. It went with our B&W theme and is something that is very NY.
I have seen jars of jam on here and thought those were cute.

The pie is an awesome idea. You are the one who inspired me to do pie. Stick with it. It is fab and original. And HELLO Diane's pie is to die for!

I think the pies sound adorable and yummy...other food considerations are cookies, breads, cakes, or maybe little jars of mixed nuts.

I loved your idea on pies, I would be thrilled if I got one as a favor. What is making you second guess yourself? You could always do mini wedding cakes like someone else suggested or wine, but I love the pie idea.

Wow! I never expected this overwhelming support for the pies!! I am not really sure why I am second guessing it. They told me that I needed 300 yards of ribbon for the boxes!! I had bought personalized ribbon from Martha Stewart a while back, but only got 60 yards!!! It would cost $300 in ribbon which is insane and it is too late anyway to get it. Maybe I will get stickers instead.
Overall, the pies came out to be $1300. I kept thinking maybe there is something else I could get for the same price. That's a lot of pie!
But I think based on your responses, I am going to stick with the pie and just forget about the ribbon. I really appreciate the responses. Pie it is!

I had ordered stickers from myweddinglabels.com from my favors and I think they would look really cute on pie boxes. They are personalized.
