8/1/04 Watermill Review!! NOW WITH PICS!!!
Wow...I can't believe it's over!! It went so fast..but was truly amazing! The weather ended up turning out nice...Thank god! It was really pouring all morning and turned nice around noon. I was so happy...anyway, want to finally give you my review!
Hair: Ann Dietz - 10
I got so many compliments on my hair that day. She did exactly what I wanted...I was going for a 40's hollywood star type of style and she pulled it off! I was so happy with the result!
Makeup- Dawn Mas - 10
I can't say enough great things about Dawn. I actually felt beautiful that day. She made me look great!
Limos - Dynasty Limos - 8
Wanted to give them a 10, BUT, I noticed that on the way to the church that my 12 passenger limo wasn't that cool....as a matter of fact it never really cooled down the whole ride to the church...Then after the ceremony the entire bridal party was supposed to go in the 12 passenger and the parents, flowergirl etc in the smaller limo. WELL, I was told by the limo driver that my DH and I were to go in the smaller and just a few of our bridal party could join us. I told him " what? I want us all to be in the 12 passenger." That's when I found out the AC was broken in the 12 passenger. I was PISSED! I paid $815 for 2 limos that I only used for 1 1/2 hours not the entire 3 AND their was no AC in the larger one. I let it slide because I didn't want to ruin my day, but I am still angry and not sure how I should handle that yet.
The limos were clean and the drivers extremely nice.
FLowers- Tributes Floral - 10++
Lisa Otis was amazing! She really did a great job on all of my flowers, centerpieces and cake!! I can't even tell you how happy I was with her work. The BM bouquets looked even better than I expected.
Watermill- 10+
All of my guests keep raving about the food and service. My family from out of town said that it was the best wedding they ever went to. My Maitre D' and Bridal attendant were amazing and really made sure that we had enough of everything...I was truly amazed at the service we got there. The only thing I was disappointed with is the Filet Mignon. It looked like Prime Rib to me...my mother said No way, it's Filet, but it was sliced and had a little fat on it . Oh well.
DJ: JA & Company/Ariana Studios 10++
The DJ rocked! He played the best music all night long...the dance floor was always packed. I had asked him not to play traditional dinner music and gave him some ideas of stuff I liked...well, I kept hearing all the songs I mentioned. People kept commenting on how great he was...during dinner he played Elton John, the Beatles, Dave Matthews, John Mayer..to name a few. This DJ company was inexpensive and I highly recommend Graham...he was FANTASTIC!!!

Stephanie truly looked gorgeous (I snuck into church to see her  )!!
Now I know how much church pics will look, I love the one with the stained glass window and the silhouette of the organist in the background. Beautiful!
