UPDATED: NEED ADVICE (DON READ)

ok so im outside of work and this guy and i make eye contact, hes so cute we r hecking each other out..i pretend to b on my phone so i have an excuse to b outside.... he goes in his car and then he went to the store next to my job....its obvious we r both trying to make convo with each other but i wouldnt make the first move even tho i was dying to...so then he comes up to me introduces himself and asks if i wanna go get coffeee?? mind u im standing infront of my job not even on a break just cause i wanted to c him, so i said oh i would love to but im working right now, ill take a rain check tho...he asks for my number, i give it to him, he says he will call me....did i play it ok, should i have taken my break and gone for coffee right then??? or would that have been to eager....do u think he will call, i hope he does.....

Don-- im trying to "Make him "glance at the cover" You don't want to give him "too much of the story" before he "buys the book"

UPDATED:
so he called me last nite..turns out we even graduated from the same college...we r going out Thursday nite cause I told him I was going to the Yankee game Friday.... :)

taking your break would have made you seem way too eager.

Guys want a challenge -- if you let them win too fast, they'll lose interest. I'm not saying be a snob, but in this instance, I think you did the right thing.

I have a pretty good feeling that he'll call.
