Where did you get your shower thank yous?
One more thing to get out of the way.... where did you purchase yours?? Do I have to get something special or can I just get the ones at the store?

I got mine at Party City, I bought the packaged ones that had a nice in script- Thank you on the front and it was blank inside. I then sealed the envelope with a simple, pale heart yellow sticker. I was so anal, I had spent the day after my shower just writing them out- however, I waited 2 weeks to mail them. And then my guests thought I was so fast in getting them out. LOL ( I had to make out about 60 of them!) PS I had to have cable come heree the day after my shower ironically and and my MIL, BIL and his girlfriend made me a condom tree- well, everyhting was still out on the table, couch, etc- it looked my house exploded with gifts, and of course he inquires about the condom tree... not just asks me about it, but picked it up and started to look at it, I thought I was going to die of embarassment- it had all kinds of condoms on it, u name it , it was there!

My sister bought me a hat box that had matching thank-you's, note paper, address book, etc. from Nordstrom's and I am going to use them.

I went to a Hallmark store and they had this elegant looking boxed ones. They are gold and white and are really pretty.

my bridal party got me ones that were in a package but went with my color theme and everything. they also had each guest @ my shower write their address on an envelope so i did not have to address them (guests had no clue what it was even for!)

my mom gave me thank yous and stamps for mt shower which i thought was an excellent idea because i had the thank you out in a week. she bought them at hallmark

My mom did the same thing...she had little address labels and stamps on them so all i had to do was fill out the card

I got a whole bunch on clearance at Target, I've been using them for e-gifts and will use the rest for the shower gifts....
I say use anything that looks nice...why spend extra money on specific shower ones, unless they are the same price...Everyones just gonna read the inside anyway...

For my sister's shower, we ordered her the matching ones to her invite. Maybe you can ask someone throwing the shower to order or pick them up and you can pay for them. We gave them to my sister as a gift.
I guess if they don't do that for me, I'd get them at party city or something.

Michaels had 8 packs of thank you cards for 1.00. Can't beat a buck!
They are blank inside with the word 'thank you' written on the front in silver (which is nice since sillver is one of my colors)
Someone is going to look at the outside for 5 seconds, read the inside for 2 minutes, then chuck it...
Why waste money on them!
