October Wedding Colors?????
I am having my wedding on October 1, 2005....I was thinking of either the champagne (standard) or mocha. What do you girls think? Any suggestions??

Eggplant is a gorgeous color. My brother & sister-in-law used that color for their wedding (Oct 2003) so I can't use that, but it comes out so beautiful in the pictures...great choice!!!

I like wine, rust.. hmm any kind of brown.. I think mocha would be better.. sometimes champagne blends into the background.. you want your girls to pop a bit, but you will stand out in the middle

I'm using a burgundy or wine color. To choose between mocha or champagne I'd have to say mocha. But you could do champagne since it's so early in the month..... I'm so indecisive! Sorry! I'm no help!

I am 95% sure that i will do red. Mocha is nice, but wouldn't look good on 2 of my BM's...Eggplant is also a possibility, but I keep going back to red...

I like Mocha! I was thinking of like a wine color or maybe a rust. I want to use pumpkins as my centerpieces, so I have to make sure the dresses don't clash

 i am using a cranberry in august! but i think it would look beautiful in october! a friend on mine used brown and made her wedding very thematic, chocolate cake, we threw leaves instead of rice or bubbles, leaves were in the bouquets (gorgeous!). you can even go for a rusty red, but mocha would look fabulous too!  pick a color that looks good with the dress. maybe some colors don't even exist for a dress. i like the bari jay website so you can see all of the colors on the dresses!

I am not sure what i am doing for my sept wedding, I love mocha strong possibility. My sister did platnium for her oct 2003 wedding and it came out amazing in pics, she had pink roses for us, really nice, if she hadnt done it I would have. Great color, look nice on everyone and very flattering.

Hey FtrMrs, we also got engaged on the same day, 2/14/04!!!!! How weird right, LOL
tonia1001, I was going to have my reception at Villa Lombardis tooooo, too far though for my NJ guests, and there are sooo many of them. But I looooooved Villa Lombardis when I went to a wedding there last year :)
I really love the Mocha, but with some of the designers the mocha looks champagne, I like the darker mocha, much nicer.

Definitely Mocha... I've found that champaign colored dresses look washed out in photos... they just don't come out nice. And mocha is so pretty :)

I really like the mocha/chocolate brown color. I am trying to do some fall colors....
Flowers: yellows/golds, oranges, maroons/reds, white/ivory
BM dresses: Sage/Moss green
Centerpieces: White/ivory, bronze, brown, gold
Linens: Ivory
