For those of you with a child/children .. are you planning on takeing them with you on your honeymoon?
our has anyone already did this ?
My fiance was totally against it until i started to get more into my reasoning the other night so now I have the option to bring our daughter who by that time will be almost 2 1/2 .

I wanted to but Joe is really against it. I was pissed for a loooooong time lol and we fought over it alot.
Finally I kind of understood his reasoning... when are we ever going to go on a vacation together alone again?!?!?!?
We have years and years of family vacations to come and he just wanted 1 last vacation to ourselves.

If we ever get around to taking a "real" honeymoon, it will probably be next spring. At that time our daughter will be 2 1/2 and we will bring her with us!

well I say don't take her, definately don't take her, I hear her aunt Tracy loves her so much that she would watch her for how ever long you two wanted

I'll miss her soo much though
I wish I had the money to bring someone on our honeymoon with us and get them a seperate room and how them watch her there ..lol..
this way when i miss her too much i could at least peak in and see her

We took our daughter but we had 2 weeks honeymoon and both of us wanted her to come. We figured that if we missed her we would then have to cut our vacation short..yada yada...
Just couldnt do it.

I don't have kids yet, so my opinion may not matter to you much, but here it is anyway. I think that even though you are already a family, mom and dad still need some alone time, and who knows when else you may be able to go away on your own. If you're concerned about missing your daughter, why don't you do 5 days, 4 nights alone with your FH and then take a three day trip with your daughter.
