Man of Honor Question
As some of you know, My MOH, my 1st cousin, dropped out of my wedding. My brother was honored to take over as Man of Honor (he was already a groomsman). He doesn't want to hold flowers or fluff my dress, which is understandable since he is a male.
SHould I have him on My side with the girls, or with the boys? What have you girls done with Men of Honor?
I want him to be 100% comfortable. Any suggestions?

Re: Man of Honor Question
Good question. How about having him stand on your side but have one of the other bridesmaids fluff your dress and hold the flowers...

Re: Man of Honor Question
I am having my Man of Honor stand next to me along with my maid of honor so that she can do the girly stuff and he can be up there with me (this is my 18 year old brother)

Re: Man of Honor Question
My friend had a man of honor, and while I honestly cannot remember if he walked up the aisle in the beginning, he was the only one up there on the altar with her, the groom and the best man. He wore a black tux, same as the groom and they all looked fabulous! I would say have him stand on your side, and ask one of the BMs to do the fluffing and the flowers instead. I think that's great that your brother is willing to do that for you!

Re: Man of Honor Question
Honestly, I would do whatever makes you and your brother happiest! If that's him by your side, then, go for it! I think it's fine to have one of your BMs attend to your dress and flowers.
My brother is my Man of Honor too, and I am still going back and forth with this. Part of me would love to have him on my side, and part of me loves the look of boys on one side, girls on the other (we have an even number of guys and girls). I'm so torn!
Let us know what you decide!
