Looking for a place for an engagement party..
Does anyone know of a reasonable place to have around 50-65 people? Does not matter Nassau or Suff.

The carriage house starts at $34...we were just there checking it out for a rehearsal dinner. It is very pretty - super trendy...they did a great job converting the place (it was a mechanic shop).
There's the Blue Hanu in Huntington - another trendy place...Hawaiian Seafood fare.

Im having mine at Brindisi Italian Ristorante in Westbury (formerly Long Island Brewery on Jericho Tpke--we're having around 50--private room upstairs and also a dance floor--very nicely set up and very reasonably priced

you can try teodoro's in huntington..my family has all of their gatherings there..i'm not sure what the prices are though because i've never had to deal with that aspect of it..

We had ours at the Irish Coffee Pub
The food,service and enviroment were great! We had about 65 people.

I'm having mine at Katie Daly's in Massapequa. I know the chef. He is great! THey are very resonable, we are having a sit down lunch ~3 choices on menus~, beer, wine, soda included - 23.00/pp
THey have it in a room down stairs that has a stage/dance floor and its own bar. I'll let you know how it goes the party is in Sept.

The Sanpper Inn and The Riverview in Oakdale are on the water and are in the $30-40 range.
