nail polish and remover
is it okay to wear it during pregnancy? Ive heard mixed things, especially about using nail polish remover. Thanks

I've never heard that you can't. I've heard that nail tips (acrylic, silk, etc.) are not good to use.

I had my nails done throughout my entire pregnancy. (Wraps included) My doctor said that it was fine. Some Dr's might disagree. Call your Dr. & ask.

I know my nail girl wouldnt put tips on in the 1st tri. you are breathing so many bad chemicals!!! But nail polish and remover were ok.

I've read that it's not even a good idea to be in a nail salon while pregnant. According to this study, the chemicals used at some places can cause birth defects. I only used non-acetone remover at home.
