Do and DH/FH let the dog sleep in the bed or just the bedroom?
Our pup has been taking it upon herself to hop up on the bed and take it all up!!!!

Nope, Byron sleeps in our great room in his crate with the door open.
He knows better then to ever go in our bed.

Ours do...well, they sleep on my side of the bed. DH kicks them off if they cross that "invisible line", so they caught on.

We only have a cat, but Ashes does sleep with us!! Normally my 14 pounds of mush "shares"
the pillow with me since he sleeps right on my head!! That has been like that for the 2 years we have him!!

I don't have any dogs but if we did they WOULD NOT be sleeping in my bed! In the bedroom maybe but not my bed!

Our dog occassionally sleeps on the bed (a weak moment between me and my FI), mostly the dog sleeps on her bed next to our bed.

our bailey sleeps on our bed, wherever she wants, however she wants lol. when she was a puppy she would sleep in the middle of us, under the covers, on her back lol. we make fun that she is human. she has to be under covers. she is our "child" so we let her do pretty much whatever she wants to!! even if she is laying on the floor, we will call her up with us lol.

Schotzie (who is a small Dachschund) can sleep with us, but Luna (a husky) can not. It may seem like we're being unfair, but it actually works out great, because Luna prefers the floor

Max comes up and cuddles with us when we first get into bed and then after about 10 minutes he goes down to his dog bed to sleep for the night. He comes up and snuggles with me in the morning about 10 min. before the alarm is to go off.

I have had Gizmo since I was 11 years old and he has been sleeping with me for the past 12 years. Now my FH tries to say he can't sleep in the bed with us so I sneak him up on my side

Both of our puppies sleep in bed with us, under the covers no less. They are so cute and good, except when they like to sleep on top of our heads on the pillows.

we don't have a dog (yet!) but one of my cats, TJ, sleeps with us almost every night and takes up 1/2 the bed! And he only weighs 10 lbs but he stretches.

my cat Gunnar sleeps on my feet every night.....that way he can bite me every morning as i wake up - not even joking....the cat is pure evil who lives to bite me....
but he's so cute.....

Kinda similar ... I've had Hershey for 11 years and she always slept in bed with me before I lived with DH. She usually comes up & snuggles before we fall asleep but gets down since DH is in HER SPOT!!
The morning of the day we change the sheets, we usually let all three dogs come up & nap/snuggle.

When we get ours, we will probably put the crate in our room when it is a puppy, and then when the dog is older move the crate, but FH will NOT go for a dog in the bed.

our dog does...We didn't let him as a puppy. We waited until her was comfortable having a crate before having him sleep with us..We wanted to let him get used to his new space...
NOW he sleeps next to me every night. I like it. My dog gets annoyed with moving around so sometimes he leaves and goes to sleep in his bed..

Fiona's crate started out in our room.....in the middle of hte night she would wake up and THROW herself against the walls and scratch at it....so we started letting her sleep in the bedroom and she decided that she loved the bed....she is so cute and so much like our kid that we allow it..
She started out in between us head on the pillow and under the covers....she has since learned that her spot is at the end of the bed. There are nights where she is in one of our spots on the bed, but as soon as we try and get in, she moves.

Our dog has slept in our bed since the day we brought him home. Actually, for a while, DH would sleep on the COUCH and Guinness would sleep in the bed, b/c at first DH was allergic to him.
Now Guinness sleeps at the bottom of the bed, over the blankets, but sometimes he gets annoyed with us and jumps off and goes to his own bed, which is in our bedroom. Then WE beg HIM to come back up, but he usually doesn't.
