I registered there for a few things, and I peeked at the registry and saw that 3 of the things I registered for are discontinued. If I could go back, I would not have registered there. When something I registered for at Fortunoff's was discontinued, they emailed at least. Oh well so be careful if you register there.

Actually, Pottery Barn does email me every time something is discontinued. They don't when it's just taken off the website, then they move it to a separate place in the registry that says "only available in stores"
However, this happens like every day! Half of my registry is no longer available online or over the phone, and who knows if the stuff is really still in the stores or not? I wouldn't recommend registering there, either.

I had a great experience registering there. I registered for a few things that were discontinued but they did send an e-mail and the things that they put in the In Store only area were temporarily unavailable online and then came back in stock.
They did tell me not to register for seasonal items, though. They go on sale and sell out quickly.
