LIW Pet Peeves
Do you have any peeves about LIW? Obviously, I support LIW (over 1,000 posts, thank you), but is there anything that you don't like about LIW?
One of mine is how when I post on a topic, and accidentally "subscribe"... then my inbox is clogged with everyone else's response that I don't read most of the time. gr8888888888!

I did that by mistake for my review. Irritating, yet funny now.
LIW pet peeves, uh maybe the drama...not too much lately, thank goodness, but sometimes it is too much for me
Other than that I luv my LIW gals & guys
ETA: Mac/LI pet peeve.... i cannot post pics directly from my server, I have to upload them through hutterfly first... that irritates me a little...especially when i have many pics to post.

Hrmmmm...Good one!
Ummmmm....I guess it's the comments and remarks that are made on some threads. Sometimes things are taken too personal or people take it upon themselves to be nasty and disagree with everything....that bugs me! I feel bad for the girls who get flammed for just saying what they feel. 
I also really hate feeling guilty when I wanna bump a post of mine. I feel like people don't wanna see the same one over and over again. Weird I know!
BIGGEST PET PEEVE OF LIW!!!!!! 
I can't understand the logic of a vendor posing as a bride.
A vendor also attempted to bribe me by saying I would get a discount if I posted nice comments about their work!!! I hate that stuff!

I also dislike when people lie..and its not always vendors either but I am sure you understand what I mean

Also vendors FM'ing me after obviously trolling the Bride's Board. If I wanted vendor help I would have posted on the vendor board.

Also I feel like when I ask a question that has been asked a million times that I "annoy" people and then I get self conscious.

another thing that bothers me is when posters only post about themselves. Or when they respond to your topics with "oh, well I'm doing ----", when you asked for suggestion/tips. I don't when people are self-involved.

I know the search function may not be the greatest but I feel that some people don't even bother trying to look first before posting their questions. To me it seems that there are alot of repetitive questions - one that comes to mind is what's needed for a marriage license.

I was thinking the same thing.
Having been a newbie in January, I didn't know how to find previous posts and search and got "yelled at" a couple times for not doing a search first or knowing that someone had recently asked that question.
Some people were nice and explained to me how to use it, but some people were a little rude. I didn't post for a long time because I was afraid people were going to get annoyed with me.
Soooo.....my pet peeve is people not being patient enough with the newbies and making them feel embarrassed.
Let's welcome each other and help each other out!! Just because you've read the answer to a question a zillion times doesn't mean others have!!
Thanks for the vent!!

My pet peeve is one vendor who obviously reads BHB board and then FM's me her responses!! I know she is trying to be helpful but it bothers me esp since it's like she's being sneaky because she KNOWS she get screamed at if she answered on our board - so i get FMs!! from a vendor - about not vendor things - this has happened from this vendor numberous times - wonder if she'll FM me when she sees this!!

Here's an example. If I search for hair in the Bride's review, I get no responses.
And I know there are tons of reviews on ahir stylist on that board.

I completely agree and I will try to elaborate. Many times I enter a word that I know was in the subject line of a post and the thread I am looking for does not come up. (for instance try searching for "ultimate" to find the to-do list I posted once)
Another pet peeve: vendors (or relatives/friends/associates of vendors, ahem) who pose as real brides OR maybe are real brides but ONLY post about THAT vendor, or only recommend vendors and "gently" bash others. It's so blantantly obvious sometimes that it makes me ill. A REAL BRIDE has questions, concerns, shares her joys & milestones and even frazzles every once in a while.... she doesn't ONLY REPLY to posts asking about vendors. DUH. How dumb do you think we are anyway?
Sorry got a little excited there.
Anyway the other pet peeve is that you can't go back and INSERT emoticons in your post. For instance. That smiley up there, if I wanted to add it as an afterthought, I have to either type it out or click the icon, then copy and paste it into where I want it.
But I still love you LIW!
