SO ANNOYED.. VENT (Am I the crazy one, or do I need a GUEST LIST??)
my fmil has been great, helpful and nice.. BUT the one thing that is bothering me is that she won't give me a guest list, they act like we still have two years, but really we only have 8 months, and I want to order the invites 4-5 months prior to the wedding, for calligraphy, stuffing, etc. so really we only have 4... Don't we need to know who we are inviting, and how many people????? isn't that important?? lol.. HELP what shoud I do? Shoud I call her and tell her that?? FI is worthless in this situation, because everytime he talks to her he gets side tracke, how hard is it??

I was unfortunately in the same boat months back...My FH finally gave his mother a date to have it done by or we would be picking the people we feel should be invited without her imput!
She had it done!

lol, hmm.. maybe I'll try that.. She only gets one more month!!!!

I had the same problem. Your FI will be useless(no offense ) You will have to get it yourself and in the future always pad the time as to when u need things done by. If u need it by May then say April. Good Luck, honey!

my fil's were like that too. They kept saying it was too early. they are the first ones to say who didn't get their invites too.

you all are so so nice. my FH and i made the ENTIRE guest list, then asked our moms for addresses that we didnt know - we didnt give them an option as to who they can invite -
i feel so vicious now!

No yr not crazy - u are the week after me - i have done my list & its in a excel sheet. I update as needed.
We both lost our parents - so we do not have that issue.
