Idea stolen from the Newlywed board.... what do you want to change about you after the wedding.
Yes, OK, I admit it.... now that I'm getting closer to my date, I am lurking over there.
Well they have thread - What changed about you after....
So here goes.... I can't wait to cut my hair, I'm also toying with the idea of taking out some hi-lights. Though I may decide to take them out beforehand.
What about you ladies.....

I wanna lose a couple of pounds...but that is nothing new. I wanna have a bank account....you know one with money in it and I just wanna have a life again. Planning takes us so much time!!!!

I want to get our finances in order and work towards getting a house.
Personally I definitely want to hack off all my hair and do something completely "different" (too much of a wimp to do this pre-wedding)

I want to EAT SWEETS again. Anything remotely resembling dessert for me lately has the words Weight Watchers in front of it.
I slacked on the dieting so I'm in full diet mode until October to get my last 10-15 pounds off. Then I can just maintain it and eat like a normal person again.
Oh, and have some money for clothes again. All my "clothing allowance" has turned into "wedding money" and I haven't bought anything new in forever. I'm so tired of every outfit I own!!

I would love to hear what everyone's FH's have to say about the cutting off the hair part! lol mine warned me when we got engaged that he likes it as is and cant stand that EVERY WOMAN we know chops off her hair a few months after the wedding ! lol
Me... I want to go back to school ( cant afford it right now)
and for our bank account to go back to normal!
I also want to go house hunting!! -

I can't wait to move into our new condo with my husband! And change my name--that will be a huge change to get used to, but he called me a few days ago and said he was doodling my name with his last name at work. I thought that was so cute!

You dont need to lose weight!!!!
personally, I want to chop my hair off and move out of the area I live in! No $$$ to do that now. And I want to go on clothes shopping sprees and not feel guilty everytime I spend an unecessary $1!

You are sooo funny! I think I'm too much of a wimp to REALLY chop my hair off, I've had long hair forever and really would never feel comfortable going too short... but I definitely need a change
Actually FH keeps wishing I'd chop it a little, he says its too long!! And lately its so unmanageable that he knows it'll keep my "maintenance" down to a minimum if I hacked it off

Also it will be nice to stop saving for the wedding and start saving for the house again. Too bad LI is so expensive, we don't think we can stay here.

I must agree with you guys.... definitely cut my hair!!!! I mean i am cutting it every few months right now... but i want to chop it!! FH says its ok as long as its below the shoulders lol, he is not a fan of short hair. I too am going to dye my hair red, i usually do red in the winter and highlights in the summer, but for the wedding i am going to have my natural hair color (if I can find it lol) with just a few subtle highlights. I cant wait to change my name, and have our house built in florida as well!!!! and probably a million other things too hahahhah
