Re: Looking for an all-inclusive resort in Aruba
The only all-inclusive place in Aruba is the occidental grande. But watch out for them, me and a bunch of friends went there last summer and they over booked and had no rooms for us, We had to stay in a hole in the wall motel across the street for a few days till rooms opened up. On the bright side they gave us all are money back so we stayed and ate in Aruba for free (only had to pay for air fare). But thats not something you want on your honeymoon.
Good luck! Aruba is Beautiful

The Holiday Inn Sunspree is also all inclusive. I went two years ago.

Have you booked already? If so, would you mind if I asked about how much it will cost?

Re: Looking for an all-inclusive resort in Aruba
The Holiday Inn was nice, but obviously not as nice as the Hyatt or Wyndam. It is on the strip on the beach where I would recommend to stay. A lot of travel agents recommend to honeymooners hotels not on the strip, like the Divi. I think it's better to be on the beach strip and take a cab ($5) to town if you want to shop or go eat at different places. It included all food and alcohol which was nice. You could also go to a nice restaurant a couple of nights too. Breakfast is a buffet(very good) and lunch was at the restaurant at the bar. Ok food, but I'm picky so all I could eat were the chicken fingers. Dinner was always outside and buffet style. Always had a theme and there is a nice restaurant inside where you can make reservations to eat. I think it's definitely worth the $. If you're looking to save money, this would be a very good option.

Re: Looking for an all-inclusive resort in Aruba
we just got back from Aruba. On our travels we met a nice couple who stayed at the Divi Divi. It also has a sister resort, the Tamarijn. Both are all inclusive. The Divi is nicer they said. And the drinks are nice and strong. We met them on the flight there, and saw them again towards the end of our stay on a Jeep tour. They said just were just sobering up haha.
There is also a 'dine around plan', which you get a special rate on selected restaurants (in hotels, and outside them) for a number of meals. we may do that next time.

Re: Looking for an all-inclusive resort in Aruba
I would recommend the Allegro Resort, it's all inclusive and it's very nice. It is centrally located, I walked down the beach to the Holiday Inn Sunspree and it is all the way towards the end of the beach - i also think it's more for families, The Allegro has some families to, but they weren't running all around and there is a casino in the resort, which is great because you don't have to take a cab to another casino.

The weather was wonderful. it rained for like 2 mins. the entire time while we were there, and then the sun popped right out again. Aruba hardly gets any rain the entire year. it was fine, like a nice sprinkle while you are in the sun. Its a great time of year to go - few kids!

Re: Looking for an all-inclusive resort in Aruba
When I went to Aruba last year, a lot of people said don't go all-inclusive because Aruba has SO MANY great restaurants. They were absolutely right...we ate at a different place every night. Prices were very reasonable...food was delicious!
Chez Mathilda was my favorite restaurant...it's right in the town of Orangestaad.

Re: Looking for an all-inclusive resort in Aruba
We are staying at the Wyndham resort and doing an all inclusive package. Our travel agent said she thought it was the best all -inclusive deal at the Wyndham, so we took her advice.

Re: Looking for an all-inclusive resort in Aruba
I just went to Aruba in May. We stayed at the Tamarijn- all inclusive-let me tell you the people were really nice-all of the rooms are like 15 feet from the ocean. We loved it. That is where my fiance proposed. The food was good also. You have I think 4 restautrants in Tamarijn and if you get the mega all inclusive you also get to eat at the DIVI which is next door. We really had a good time and it was not that expensive at all. The Occidental Aruba, my friends stayed there the same time we were there. The lobby is nice and they have a casino, but the rooms are tiny and old- not dirty but old. For your honeymoon, I wouldnt recommend it. The Hyatt and the Marriot are the nicest, but they are a lot of money and not all inclusive- not oceanfront either- definitely look at the tamarijn-let me know-fm me if you want more info-like I said we just went and I have pictures
