Anyone doing a Dinner/Dancing night instead of bachelorette party?

My friend is sending evite's to everyone inviting them to dinner and then dancing instead of the bachelorette party thing. i am really not into strippers so it wasn't a big deal to me. anyone else doing this? is anyone also worried about personalities clashing? how do you handle this?

we're doing a girls weekend at the shore and not really a "Bachelorette Party" - I was adamant about no strippers, games or interesting accessories. im just not into that

We are doing renting a limo and doing tastings at the wineries for my FSIL. We plan to grab dinner after... No stippers or anything.

FH and I are doing the same thing - the girls and guys are going out separate for dinner and then everyone is meeting up at a club.

it will be fine and everyone will have fun.

i actually do know someone though whose different groups of friends got into a fight at a girl's bachelor party. Long story short one even slapping the other. its horrible but at least the bride was too drunk to remember!

We will be doing this too- FH and I just want to go to dinner and have a few drinks with the bridal party. It will be pretty laid back-- no body parts will be brushed onto us or anything like that.

Re: Anyone doing a Dinner/Dancing night instead of bachelorette party?

I think dinner and dancing has become very typical for bachelorette parties these days. Almost all that I have attended are that way. We did that for mine. No personalitiles clashed and everyone had a good time - I think! And I had many different groups - friends from college, hs, after college (like DH's friends wives), work (2 different jobs), etc.

We are going to a spa and then going out to dinner. I am very happy. I am not a "crazy" girl anyway.

I have a few people from work and a few outside of work. probably about ten but hopefully everything will be good, i am not that social so this will be different for me. i am social with people one on one but not in a group.
