Wedding Dress - Day After Question
Has anyone thought of what they would do with their wedding dress the day after?
I'm thinking of having my train made into a christening outfit and matching blanket/wrap for my intended first born, but I still want to preserve the remainder of the dress just in case I have a girl.
Opinions, suggestions, thoughts.....
Also does anyone know of any good preservation places on Long Island?

Re: Wedding Dress - Day After Question
I am having my dress, veil and headpiece preserved but my train (since it is a royal cathedral train) saved and when I have my first born (if it is a girl) have my train made into her christening outfit.

Re: Wedding Dress - Day After Question
I am having my shawl/wrap made into a baby pillow to be used and passed on in newborn pictures. I am having my dress and headpiece preserved.

Re: Wedding Dress - Day After Question
I'm really not sure yet... I guess I'll see how I feel about it afterwards but I think I might try and sell it! I see no point in keeping it really and it was so expensive that if I can even get a fraction of that money back I might be happier. Of course, I am also considering having it made into something like a christening outfit.
