its just a small round vase with a single rose in it.. the thing with the name card is the hard part b/c obviously these little bowls are made special for it... I was thinking get small plastic/glass round bowls and stick regular place cards with double sided tape. When people bring them to the table it will also make the table look REALLY nice with all the extra flowers around.

Re: What r u doing for your place cards?
I am doing something that I saw in Grace Ormonde. They are place cards that get attached to the back of the chair with a ribbon.

Hmmmm....... these look like clear ornament balls filled with water or gel. During the holiday season, you can get the balls at michaels. Just an idea.....

Re: What r u doing for your place cards?
I'm using these soap flowers. I'm gonna tie the placecard to the stems. I got them as favors, but I went with something else. It's great because my centerpieces will be a mix of spring flowers.

Re: What r u doing for your place cards?
We are using these wooden hearts I got from Michael's painted gold with a white ribbon tied through them. then on a piece of paper with a piece of tacky glue, we will print the name and seat. Then you can peel the heart shaped piece of paper off andhave a little ornament. They will be hanging from a little tree. I will try to take a picture and show it.

I bought the frames from Michaels and decorated them myself. And love the idea of the placecard above for the printing portion of it.)

we used what the hall gave us...we didn't think it was worth it to spend extra $$ on something that gets left behind or thrown away

Re: What r u doing for your place cards?
try dollar stores and craft stores! I know rag shop has cute ones just like this for 1.99 or .99 and they have a 30% off coupon in the flyer all the time. they also have alot of 50% off sales on this kind of stuff.

Ditto that! I think we 'MAY' be getting a double happiness stamp and then just having the corner of the hall-provided cards with that. Nothing too fancy. I REALLY need to start shaving off this price tag!
