religion question for my friend...
she is having a baby boy...will a moyle do a bris if SHE is catholic and her husband is Jewish??

hmmm...i don't know but that is a good question. fh cousin's father is a rabbi and she had a baby shower b4 the baby was born (which is unusual) so maybe.

No I dont think so. My boss is catholic and his wife is Jewish and he said the traditional way is the kids follow the mothers religion.

My brother is Jewish...his wife is Catholic. They had a cantor do the bris...if you want his info, FM me and I will get it from my SIL.

You will defintiely find someone. The only people who would not do it would be MAYBE orthodox or "conservadox". But even so, most people believe a child CAn be initaited into the Jewish religion, and all that is required is a bris and sometimes a mikvah as well, adn this is according to a course I took with an orthodx rabbi.
