A bad sample of our wedding favors and treats that....(pics updated)
we're putting on each plate. I ordered the bags from www.organzaribbons.com . Another bride (sorry forgot who you were), recommended them. I will be using the colors: white, silver and baby blue. The treat bag will be in light blue.
The wine bags will be decorated with that flower in the color white (my cousin is doing them for me). I'll probably be sticking them with the glue gun or something. I'm still undecided on whether or not to use personalized ribbon, labels, or both. So any suggestions would be great. Please let me know what you all think.
1st pic: little bag with lifesavers candy
2nd pic: blue organza bag
3rd pic: silver organza bag
4th pic: white orangza bag
(remember the flower will be in white)

Question: Do the lifesaveor symbolize something?
If you are doing both, the candy bags and the wine favors, I would stick to all white, more formal, and elegant. For the candy bags, I would use printed ribbons, and the wine bottle, they have personalize tags instead.. I think the blue may make it seem more for a baby shower. Is your bridal party wearing blue dresses?

I love wine as favors!!!!
I will hopefully be doing mine with personalized labels.
For yours: I like the silver or the white bag and i think you should add a personalized tag or ribbon. They look great!!!

The girls dresses are blue. So you think that I should do white on white or white on silver?
I wanted some contrast. Linen and china are white. Napkins will be blue. Thanks for you honest opinions. I need them, before I place the order.

since you want the contrast i would say the blue bag with white ribbon. Will the bottles be on the table or will you have a favor table? I think all three bags were pretty similar. i'm sure whatever you choose will look lovely

The lifesavers don't symbolize anything. I love candy, and I wanted to give some.

As far as the candy, by tradition- the candy used are almonds, they symbolize, love , prosperity, health etc. They are used as good luck symblols, would you consider them instead of the life savers? They also come in pastel colors, but I would think they would be too easter looiking, and would stick to all white.
Since your BP dresses are blue, what color are their flowers and the the center peices? Are they mixed blue & white? Did you choose the centerpiece that your floweres will be in? What does it loik like? Sorry for all the detailed questions, but I'm annal when it comes to matching and chosing things
I would do all the same color, all blue with a blue flower, I don't like the blue with white flower or visa versa. The more consistant you keep everything, the more elegant it will look. JM

I need something thats' individually wrapped. If they sell almonds that way, I'll buy them.
The girls flowes will be a mix of blue and white flowers. Centerpieces will be white and blue flowers with petals on the base of the cp.
Here's a pic of the centerpiece that I want. I'm also anal about everything matching, but I don't know if it's too much.

last summer we got the lifesavers in a roll package just like you buy in the store but it was silver and white and said "lovesavers" and had their names and date i think on it
Just an idea...
eta - I would maybe do the silver bag with a white bow. I think the blue looks like a baby shower - JMO though
