My 3/21 wedding review at East Meadow Jewish Center (repost from BHB)
Here goes!
Hair and Makeup- A+++++
Done by Mom's friend's sister, looked great, stayed on all day and night!
Shoes, Shoe Elegance in Lynbrook-A++++++
Nice salespeople comfortable shoes, wore them all night and didn't take off until party ended.
Dress- Monica's Bridal in Brooklyn-A++++++
Alterations were great, no problems, length perfect.
EAST MEADOW JEWISH CENTER, Mike and SeanA+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
I couldn't have asked for a better wedding. The food was delicous, the service was great, all of our friends and family couldn't stop raving! For Kosher food everyone thought it was just delicious. The waiters came around to every table top see who wanted seconds in the main course. We have a friend who had thirds!
Rabbi Ronald Androphy-A+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
as well. He was sweet, explained certain traditions : putting the blusher on the bride, bedekking, signing the ketubah, etc. The part most people told me they loved was the fact that the rabbi asked DH and I to write letters to him about why we loved each other and wanted to marry each other. We weren't allowed to see the other's letter. We were under the impression that he would read excerpts from ithem, well, he read the entire letters! We loved him as well.
Clolonial Flowers and Irene: A++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Another class act. My centerpieces were gorgeous, the colors were vibrant. They were also pretty full. Everyone raved about them as well. Irene is just teriffic as well. I wanted some more boutinerres and she went back to the store and made them. My bouquet and the girls' were beautiful!

They kept the crowd going all night!
They played our requests wonderfully! They have such a great sound! I can't say enough about them. I just wished that I danced a little bit more.

I love Jimmy, he has such a great personality! My mother even liked him and she is a tough critic. when I get proofs back I will let uyou know more.
All I can say is that if you are using any of the above you wil be in very good hands!!!!!!!!!!

My MOH got married at East Meadow Jewish Center too! It was a wonderful place - everyone raved about her wedding as well!  I think you had might have the same rabbi because hers did the same thing with the letters...I'll have to ask her his name.
Your day sounded wonderful!! Congratulations!!
