Re: Which is a better deal for Hawaii?

I don't know what the better deal is, but I have repeatedly heard if your going to Hawaii, the Hyatt Maui and Hyatt Kauai are the way to go. No question. They have gotten great reviews. Hope that helps a bit.

Sounds like a good deal to me! FI and I are looking to book Hawaii too and we heard it would cost around $7,000! Who did you go through?

Re: Is this a good deal for Hawaii?

I went through Liberty Travel. They are holding this deal for us for a week and FI is complaining that's it's too much money but doesn't want to change anything. He keeps telling me that's it's too stressful to talk about it now because of work and school...we'll talk about it later. How can I get him to just book it already?

Re: Is this a good deal for Hawaii?

hugs213, that seems a little high to me. We are going for 13 nights and 14 days and paying less.

We are staying at the Hyatts on all 3 islands and our package includes breakfast and car rental. I am using Liberty Travel too.

It might be because of the time of year.

Re: Is this a good deal for Hawaii?

True, I didn't think about the time of year. That could be why your quote is higher.

Re: Is this a good deal for Hawaii?

I think it's a very good deal.

We are going for 12 days. 7 in Maui at Grand Hyatt, 4 in Kauai at Grand Hyatt and 1 night in Oahu at the Outrigger. Same kind of car rental. Island hopper flights. And ours totalled $6K

So I think you got yourself a great deal.

Re: Is this a good deal for Hawaii?

Its a good price but you may get a better deal if you do only Hyatts. There is a Hyatt hopper discount. I didn't do it because the Kauai Hyatt was under construction but I think its cheaper. If they are done with construction-it is nicer than the Sheraton. The Sheraton is nice too but not in the same category.

The total would come out to around $7000, right? Since that price was per person.

But I still think it's a good deal!
