i'm so sorry for your lost. I could only imagine what you are feeling. My fiance and i trying to get thru our own lost also. We lost my fiance' father, March 9. We just had our enagement Party week and half before he past away. I'm trying to kept his spirit up. I'm also telling him to think of the good times he had with this dad. I'm also happy your fiance' also is helping you out with the rescheduling. And the vendors you are using was really nice to reschedule and help you out. Everything will be ok and you will get thru this ok.

stephanie - i am so sorry to hear about your dad - there isnt anything that can be said right now to express the feelings you must be holding within - but please hon dont forget that your dad is with you in spirit even if he isnt there to hold your arm he will be walking you down the aisle.

My father died very suddenly in November, so I understand how you feel about the wedding. You'll get through it (we both will!) and maybe there will be tears, but that's okay. Everyone will share your emotions and be there for you, and your dad will be there in spirit.

no words could ever express how deeplyi feel for you. i know nothing anyone will say can make you feel better, but take the comfort of knowing how much you shared with your father while he was here with you. that will never go away.

Stephanie, my heart breaks for you, your FH sounds wonderful and his stepping in is probably one of the many qualities you love about him...all Dad's want to make sure their daughters are properly cared for...your Dad is resting in peace right now, he knows his daughter will be taken care of....cry when you have to, smile when you can't, but remember to focus on your wedding day and your FH...your Dad would have wanted that most of all for you.

I'm so sorry for your loss. My dad passed away a few years ago. I can imagine what you are going through.

What helped me is realizing that I was luckier than most. That I had such a great dad for 21 years, when most people don't have a dad like mine. Try to remember the gifts you are given (your dad, your family, fiancee) and remember that there are people out there (like me) who never had their dad even know their fiancee. Now you have an angel looking down on you.
