Dad has passed away. My 3/27 wedding is being postponed. Feeling very down.
My father's cancer spread the last week of February and he passed away on March 11. I can't even express what I am going through right now. He was supposed to walk me down the aisle on Saturday. I feel broken. I'm not even sure why I'm writing this, but somehow I feel that I needed to tell you all since you've been so kind to me.
We are trying to pick up the pieces. My FH has taken control of everything for the wedding. He has rescheduled it to August 1st for us. Our vendors have been so wonderful. They applied all deposits to our new wedding date. I'm scared for that day though...how will I ever get down the aisle without my dad?
Hope all of the other 3/27 brides have a beautiful day. I'll be thinking of you.

I can't even begin to tell you how sorry I am to hear this. I know there is nothing I can say right now to make the pain go away. Just try and get through each day taking it one day at a time. Anytime you need to vent, cry or talk, just come here and know that we are all here for you!

take some time to grieve. it will be hard not to walk down the aisle with your father, i would walk down with someone who was very special to him - your father will be there in spirit.
i'm sure your father would want to see you happy on your special day, as much as it hurts keep this in mind and try to hold it together...for you, and for him...
