anyone going to a sandals resort for the honeymoon??

we were on their website last night and thought it looked amazing! anyone book theirs yet or have been? we are looking into st. lucia!!

I am going to call the travel agent this week to book ours to the Grande St. Lucian. We have heard wonderful things and are looking forward to going.

We booked the Sandal Regency (Golf & Spa) in St. Lucia. We don't have a final price yet though because it's too early for the airfare. But, the good thing is that if Sandals has any specials from now until we go, we are eligible for them. So we might end up spending less than we think.

we're going to the grande st lucian.
i think it was $4700 for 6 nights, we got a swim-up lagoon room so it is a little more expensive, the flight was around $1200 I think - we used our flyer miles for that

We went to Sandal's Halcyon (St Lucia) back in '98. Had a lovely time - the island is beautiful and Sandal's treats you like royalty.

we went over the weekend to get all the details about sandals. they are actually having a discounted period right now for early booking, not sure how early u have to book and when it ends though! we chose 6 nights st. lucia grande and then 7 nights in barbados w/ friends. the st. lucia portion came out to about 3900 for the two of us, in the honeymoon penthouse room (not the best or the worst room. it has the 24 hr room service and concierge (SP?) but not the plunge pool) it was lower than the prices i got on their website though. this is w/o air because they cant book air that far in advance. what is nice about our barbados decision is that when u fly air jamaica to st. lucia they automatically stop in barbados both ways, so we'll just be extending our stop over also another note about air jamaica, they serve hot "good" food and unlimited beer and champagne throughout the flight ahhaah, i thought that was great!!!

I'm going to Sandals Royal Bahamas 8 days 7 nights. I can't wait to go, especially with this snow we got today!

We booked Sandals St. Lucia Regency. I believe we were qouted $4700, which includes air; however, the air has a chance to go down. We booked the air just so we would be guaranteed a seat on the flight. If the price is adjusted, we will benefit from it.

we went to Ocho Rio's for our honeymoon!!! it was great!!! Dunnes river seemed really nice, we went there once for the day to get waterskiing and once for dinner

We booked Sandles Grande St. Lucia for 6 days, then we are doing San Juan for a night and then hopping on a Royal Carribean cruise to St. Thomas, St. Martin, Aruba and Ceirasai (not sure of the spelling ) for a week.

I think total with airfare and all it will be about $6500 which is awesome for an all inclusive 2 week Honeymoon!!!

Don't bother with a travel agent- it is so easy to book it right online yourselves.

I am going to Sandals Royal Caribean (Jamica) for 7 days! I can not wait! I talked my fiance into the honeymoon suite!

We are going to the Sandals Grande St. Lucian for 9 days and are staying in the Penthouse HM Oceanview Suite and are paying $6400 with airfare.

Kelly from All About Travel in New Hyde Park helped us booked, she is a certified Sandals agent and was even able to get us a spa credit.

The airfare was about $1300 of the above price...it was really expensive through Air Jamaica, but that was my only option since I won't fly in small planes.

i have heard such great things about these places and i was just on the phone w/ them today b/c my FI saw this thing to test out your honeymoon for $159- you go for 1 day they fly you there and back and you are on the actual island for 6 hours and are able to see the resort and all sandals has to iffer and if you book you honeymoon w/ them they credit it to your account!! how great is that?!!

I saw that too, but I hate to fly...so I don't want to be on a plane 2X in one day!!!

But it sounds great...FH wanted to do it! Just to say "Oh, I flew to Jamaica for the day"
