spinoff on the diaper bag post

Didnt' take too many trips to Old Navy and Bloomingdales to realize that I really need a smaller diaper bag option in addition to what I have. Right now I have the boxy Petunia Picklebottom. it's very roomy, I am easily able to fit a bunch of diapers, outfits, blanket, my stuff, bottles, etc. It has a changing pad that rolls down - very convenient. But not for just running around. More for like taking her to my sister's house in Westchester or something.

So now they have a smaller version that I am thinking of picking up - do you think this would be a good option? It's called a toddler tote, and really just has maybe two pockets inside for bottles, and I guess the rest is just a "tote" type of capacity. AND - going on the "fashion" side of all this. Do I have to get this in red to match the big one? Or can I get the fun color I posted?
