Place Card Ideas
Does anyone have any different or new suggestions for place cards? I want something new and maybe a little different! I had seen in a magazine having little champaigne or little wine bottles with the name/table number and I like that, but figured I'd see what others were doing too :)

Re: Place Card Ideas
Although I have since decided not to do them to save some money (my hall provides place cards for free) I was considering this idea for my garden theme wedding:
with gel candles inside, the handle decorated with pink rosettes and raffia, and names and table #s printed on clear labels and attatched to these tags from Martha Stewart in pink and blue which fit perfectly on the top of the pails

Re: Place Card Ideas
I read in a magazine that you can take a nice glass container, fill it with water and pin people's names and table numbers to roses and place it in the water, it looked really cool. Another idea that I saw was to take quality, thin blocks of chocolate and put the person's name and table number on a piece of paper and tie it around the chocolate with a number. You could also try plantable placecards. They are single pieces of paper with flower seeds embedded into the paper. People just throw the piece of paper in the ground and flowers will grow from that!!!!!
