Totally random question...
Okay, this might be a really dumb question
BUT
How do you change your status... like I am a wedding newbie, and others are addicted, I know it has something to do with the amount of posts you make, but some brides have stuff about RSVP's and blushing brides too, how does that happen..

After you hit a 1000 post you can change your own title, but untill then you get the standard names LIWeddings issues.

Mine changed around the 50 post mark. I'm assuming that after a certain # of posts you can write your own status headline.

Here's the way it breaks down (someone posted this info the other day):
1-49 = Newbie (Light Blue)
50-249 = Board Enthusiast (Light Green)
250-999 = Board Fanatic (Purple)
1000-2999 = I'm Addicted (Red)
3000-4999 = It's An Obsession (Pink)
5000-7400 = It's A Sickness (Dark Green)
7500-9999 + Beyond Obsession (Orange)
You get to change your little saying once you become addicted (1,000 posts). AND you get a LIW teeshirt!
You'll get to "addiction" really fast ... it only took me about 2 months!
I'm not sure if I should be proud or ashamed of how much time I spend on here!!!

I'm not sure about all of the logistics of NY requirements just yet, but I would recommend getting the "Everything Wedding Book" - it has a whole section on all of the people you have to contact to make changes!
