Its offical: I think my Physical Therapist is insane!!! (MAJOR VENT)

She put me on the weights on Friday.. no biggie.

She says "WOW, you're a lot stronger than I thought" Funny.. i've TOLD you guys I can lift weights.. that's useless.

COME ON !!! I've been at this for almost 2 freaking years!!! gimme a break!

She says she's "why are you here then" well like I've said before a million times because it's workers Comp and I do as Im told. Know her answer.. "Im going to cut you off" REALLY? Now THERE's a brilliant idea!!

She acts like I want to be there.

I had a REALLY crappy day.. (bad review, bad morning, muddy shoes, bad work day, bad evening before, bad weather causing knee aches) now THIS!!!

So although Im already in a bummed out mood I take off on her.

"You THINK I want to be here? You think Im using this as a free gym membership? You think I like losing two days out of every week to this? Getting home late, eating late and seeing my husband to be less? You think this is fun after two years? It's NOT! You think I like having you guys play with my knee cap every few months and press that spot that REALLY hurts, you think that's fun? You think I like having to explain over and over and over and over again HOW i got injured in front of strangers (there were people in the room at the time)? WHy can't you GUESS the damned date is 9/11 NEED I SAY MORE!? And now you want to cut me off? go for it!"

Her: "I only want whats best for you, prehaps you should start on pain medicine of PT isnt taking the pain away"

I gave up.. I was extra bummed. I said fine I'll call my adjuster. Right now though.. a day later.. im still bummed and pissed.. PAIN medication?? great.. let's give Ronie meds.. pop a pill for the rest of my life. THAT sounds like fun.

This woman is offically pissing me off. But fine. I'll call my adjuster on Monday.. my WHOLE point was.. Yes, it still hurts, Yes, PT makes it feel 'less painful', No, PT does NOT take the pain away, No, the doctors nor the PT folks think it will EVER take the pain away, Yes, we are still working on other options.

God Workers Comp claims ARE annoying!!!

Its bad enough all the other emotion crap that comes with this injury I didn't need her acting like God of PT to me. Especially when I've been trying for a year to get OUT of PT.

The whole thing is messy. It's a miracle Jim stuck around. It was worse in the beginning when I couldnt bend my knee or sit on the floor. I hate relying on people to do simple things for me. It's very limiting.

Im doing a lot better.. just have my 'bad days' and those bad days shouldnt be happening according the Workers Comp people. They want to get me back to what I was prior to the 'incident'. My point is, it's never going to happen.. all you're doing is dragging me through hell continuously.

*sigh* it's tough.

Thanks for letting me vent.

I know there's not much I can do but hang in there, but sometimes the weight gets a little heavy.
