We finally picked out living room furniture

We wound up buying at Domain. I haven't heard anything negative about them so hopefully all will go well.

Here is our set, we didn't get the tables. We bought a sofa, a chair and a half, matching ottoman and another chair w/ottoman.

I have been meaning to post on your orignal thread about Domain. Almost all my furniture is from them, actually all my rooms except our office furniture.

I have the same living set (Brighton) and we love it. I have the sofa, love seat, chair and a half/ottman plus a wood frame chair. We got it in a sage green, I can't remember the exact name. The couch is sooo comfortable but be careful if you ever have to move b/c it is on the big side.

I love their furniture and agree that it can be a little ornate but you can also pick up items that have a cleaner look.

Overall, I love their stuff and worked with a great saleslady from Roosevelt Field (now Carle place). The only problem I ever had with them was with our bedroom set. It is handpainted and since our furniture was big and our bedroom was not so big, we would hit into the pieces sometimes and now we have chips. So I would be careful to only buy hand painted pieces for areas with no traffic.
