Final decision on vendor for our photo and video

I just went to Duet , Sherwood Triart, and Artisan today. Have any of you used them ? Are there any things that you wished you might have done or changed ? If so please free to FM me. I'm not saying who I think I am going to use so that each epinion is not biased. I did however find the langueage problem some stated about Duet to not be a problem. Did you mix and match your packages? How long was the wiat for proofs, albums, etc. Flexibility a problem, as far as final products, money issues, and any thing you could think of would help. I'd like to finalize my decision within a week.

we booked duet for our photo and video...we went with the casual day package and now i am thinking about maybe upgrading to the soho album, but i will wait until it is time to do that...overall, even with the extras we are doing, i think we are getting a great deal for the price

As you know i used Duet and i absolutely loved them. It took about 2-3 weeks to get the proofs and i think they said it would be 2 months for my album. i just did it the other week so it won't be ready for a while. The video takes about 3 weeks.

I didn't mix and match my package but i did add thing to it and they definately don't try to rip you off. They are really reasonable with their prices. I am adding pages to the parent albums and it is not costing a lot. Other places would have charged me 4x their price. With all the other studios i went to they wuuld get so excited when you asked about adding pics to your album, they were quoting me crazy prices.

All i can say is i loved working with them and they are really easy to work with before and after.

We just booked with them today and just have the contracts and meeting with the photographers on Mon. It's just one of those thngs I knew after a few minutes. Just like Flowerfield.

When dealing with studios, just remember that the quality can range depending on the individual photographer. Make sure you get a photographer that suits your taste and pocketbook. JMO...

I used Classic Look Photography and then went with something totally unique for my video, with LCA video Productions. Highly recommended, check them out.

We used Leli Photography in St. James and couldn't have been happier. We picked up the proofs yesterday and they were amazing!!! It's going to be tough to narrow down the choices for our album. His site is www.leliphotography.com
