Did David's Bridal sell your information too?
There was no box to check that said DO NOT PUT ME ON THE LIST. Nor was there anything else, yet I keep getting phone calls from these ridiculous vendors in places like Pennsylvania saying that David's Bridal "referred" them to me. JT went along with one photographer before and said, fine, you're in PA, so when am I supposed to get there to meet with you? And she said, Oh, we have locations in Monticello, NY. He was like, ok, nice try, that's upstate NY, I'm on LI, and all she could say was, Well, I'm from PA, so i don't know the area. He was like, then why are you calling me? BYE! I'm so mad!

I got my dress at David's and I have never received any solicitation since my wedding from them...

Actually, on the form that I filled out there was a little check box, I checked it and haven't received one call.

What upsets me is that it is even legal for a business to sell your personal information. What happened to privacy.

Hmm...it must have been a different form, I went in Jersey, so maybe that's why? I dunno, I looked and looked too, it was allllllll the way at the bottom of the page and it kind of blended in with something else. Oh well. Sorry to hear this happened to you, I had a catering hall sell mine (not my hall) and my FH got calls for their house vendors for at least 6 mos.

See, I had been to the David's Bridal in MA and there was NEVER anything to check either, and no calls, just from the one on CP.

LOL! Rachel, did you buy your dress from david's? Maybe that's the key to not getting solicitation. Everyone in the thread who bought their dress there hasn't received one call.

I got my dress from David's, i DID check the 'do not call' box, and I still started to get solicitations from people shortly thereafter. I hadn't really met with anyone else, so I'm sure it was David's that sold me out.
