I remember the last time you posted that picture. It is absolutely fabulous!!!! I guess depending on the color flowers you use, you can use it for either season.

I love it ... what about different colors on the bottom - more fall colors instead of the icy colors it shows?

thank you lol!! I really like it but FI and some other critics tell me it looks like I went outside and picked up branches off the floor and stuck them in a vase! Others have told me its better for fall then for my feb wedding. Im confused ** definitly would use lighter colors at the bottom**

I would say winter because the candles hanging almost look like snow or icsicles hanging. Very pretty either way.

(have to laugh at the viewing,,,but not posting. I get that all the time)
I am stuck saying both. It has a feeling of fall with the bare branches. But yet candles can make it wintery, in my mind. I think depends on flowers too. Maybe winter blues, pinks, purples can give it a cooler feeling. Make sense?

That's exactly what I meant .. those colors in the photo were "cooler" and fall colors are usually "warmer" ...

You crack me up.., Maxine
I would've responded if I saw it the last time... I swear! Anyhooo... I love that centerpiece, I don't think its too "fall" or too "winter" ... besides, who makes up these rules about what to use in what season, anyhow! I say anything goes these days, as long as its what you want!!

Re: Is this centerpiece better for fall or winter??? - Your looking but not giving opinions! Post any thoughts you have good or bad!
I think it's beautiful and could be for fall or winter. You can choose fall or winter type flowers towards the base to really make the fall or winter theme stand out.
My only word of caution is that it may be difficult for guests to see each other through the branches.

My thoughts exactly JVS. It is gorgeous... but I'd be afraid no one would be able to see across the table.

I would say you could def. use it for either season. But not summer or spring
The color of the flowers makes a difference but i do see how the lights look like icicles (sp?)

I agree. If you use deep colors or very very light colors I feel Winter. If you use warm colors in the area of oranges and reds I feel Fall.

Re: Is this centerpiece better for fall or winter??? - Your looking but not giving opinions! Post any thoughts you have good or bad!
I love it. I think it's different and I'm a big fan of anything a little different for weddings. It definitely feels wintery and I agree with you on the colors. Use cooler colors and it will be more wintery and less autumn-ish. If anything I feel it's more wintery anyway because the barren branches totally capture the look of it.
For those people who said that it looked like you just grabbed some branches off the ground -- tell them to try it and see if it comes out even half as elegant as these look!!
Oh and btw - this was my 1st time seeing this post -- you are too funny!!!
